SALON DUMBO — CLIENT POLICIES
Services & Results
All services provided by Salon Dumbo are professional services tailored to each individual client. By booking an appointment, clients acknowledge that results may vary based on hair history, condition, and prior chemical treatments.
No Refund Policy (New York)
To the fullest extent permitted under New York law, all services rendered are final and non-refundable.
By booking and receiving services, clients acknowledge and agree that payment is for time, expertise, and services performed, regardless of subjective satisfaction with the final result.
Adjustments & Corrections
Clients must notify Salon Dumbo within 7 days of the original service if they believe an adjustment is necessary.
Corrective services may be offered at the sole discretion of Salon Dumbo and must be scheduled within a reasonable timeframe.
Limitation on Remedies
In all circumstances, any remedy offered shall be limited to corrective services or, at Salon Dumbo’s discretion, a service credit.
No monetary refunds will be issued for completed services.
Client Disclosure Requirement
Clients agree to provide complete and accurate information regarding their hair history, including prior color, chemical treatments, and at-home applications.
Salon Dumbo shall not be responsible for outcomes impacted by incomplete or inaccurate disclosure.
Satisfaction Standard
Hair services are subjective and based on professional interpretation. By proceeding with a service, clients acknowledge that variations in tone, dimension, and finish may occur and do not constitute a failure of service.
Right to Refuse Service
Salon Dumbo reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time in accordance with New York State law, including where hair integrity is compromised or expectations cannot be safely achieved.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By completing a transaction, clients agree that services were rendered as described and agree not to initiate a chargeback without first contacting Salon Dumbo.
In the event of a dispute, Salon Dumbo reserves the right to present documentation including, but not limited to:

Appointment records and service notes

Time-stamped communications

Photographic or video evidence of services rendered
Clients acknowledge that initiating a chargeback for services received may constitute a breach of this agreement.
No Guarantee of Specific Results
Salon Dumbo does not guarantee exact replication of reference images or prior results, particularly where hair condition, history, or integrity limits achievable outcomes.
Policy Acknowledgment (New York Enforceability)
By booking an appointment, entering the premises, or receiving services, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these policies.
These terms are intended to comply with and be enforceable under the laws of the State of New York.
